Since we had a Trunk or Trick event to attend, we decided to eat out before the event. Since it was a Thursday, all of the entrees were $12, Including the steaks (fillet and rib eye). Our group of 4 had the fillet, rib eye, and the chicken Jerusalem. All three of the entrees were very good. One of the offered sides is not one that is typically offered, brussel sprouts. Since I like brussel sprouts, it was a pleasant surprise. Service was good. Will definitely return.

The first and only time I have ever been here I had a terrible experience. It was a friends birthday party on a Saturday night. Upon arrival the server asked me what I would like to drink and I asked for a drink menu. After deciding what I wanted I waited for the server to come back, and he didn't. I decided to go to the bar to order, where I was ignored by the bartender for several minutes. While I waited the server appeared and asked for my order. The drink was delivered a few minutes later. I decided to see what cigars they had for sale and went into the "VIP" area. A manager retrieved the cigar I wanted and told me it cost "$6.00"which would be added to my tab. After returning to the patio and finishing my drink I ordered a second which never arrived. Forty five minutes later I went inside where I found my server talking nonchalantly with a hostess. I asked for my ticked which he printed and to my surprise the cigar was priced $10.00. I asked for the manager who retrieved it from the humidor and he basically told my I was lying and insisted that he said the price was "six or eight bucks" but he agreed to sell it to me for $7.00. It really was a sad experience and I will not return. During the same visit I saw two patrons who had drinks from outside the bar(I guess they brought them in) One of the servers walks up behind them and says "can I uhhh.." and with his index finger he motioned for the cans they were holding and just grabbed them from their hands and walked away without anything further. The guys shouldn't have had drinks from outside the bar but what in the hell do you expect when you can't even serve a paying customer more than one drink in two hours time? I highly suggest avoiding this place.

In town on business, this place was recommended to us by our client. The atmosphere is really something, unlike anything else in town. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Very extensive cocktail list, and everything we tried was well made and they certainly don't skimp on the spirits. The food. Oh God, the food. We ordered a wide selection of small plates and sampled everything between four of us. Everything we had was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend the stuffed figs and the calamari. I normally don't like calamari because it can end up rubbery when it isn't done properly, but this calamari was perfection. Definitely check this place out.

BOTTOM LINE: The cutesy concept of 'bites' equals child size portions at adult prices. Yes the food is very good. But, I would not go back because of the ridiculous portion size to price ratio. SERVICE: Friendly & attentive. Forgot one thing for a table of six. Kitchen was very slow. FOOD: Delicious - though portion size leaves you hungry REVIEW: I Went with a group of 6 on a Tuesday around 5:30. There were very few other people there. Most of us were very happy with the quality of the food. Salads were delicious. Chicken was tender and delicious. Ribeye was fairly tender and tasty. Calimari were outstanding for anywhere, but especially for a place in the desert. Meatloaf was good. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. The chef even came out and chatted w/ us. Only one mix up, my appetizer was delivered with my meal after I specifically requested it to come before. But, for the place to be so empty the service was oddly slow. Very slow. It could be a good sign that everything is made fresh to order and perfectly timed for the whole table. But, if the restaurant were full, I can't imagine feeding everyone at 30 minutes per table to wait for their order. My one big complaint is the portion size. They are getting cute with the whole 'bites' concept. Perhaps if someone really wants a Child size portion this place is a good choice. But, I prefer a real portion size for a meal. The meals are too big to order 2 and too small to fully satisfy one person. Ideally I guess a group would order several things and share. But, the 'meals' come out as complete meals w/ entree and veg, so would be odd to share. The prices are also what you would expect to pay for an adult size portion of food. What really ripped it off though was the tiny cheesecake for desert. Yes they were delicious and made in house. But, they were just two bites per slice. The price though was what you would pay for a real full sized piece somewhere else. Okay to be fair you get 3 of the tiny slices per order. It still doesn't equal a real slice of cheesecake. And there is something different about eating a tiny slice compared to a big slice. I'm an adult and I'll take the bigger one thanks. If you just want to drink and have something small, then this is Your place. I think the concept would work well in a more downtown or city local, but not in a primarily suburban area.

Five words: tacky, tacky, tacky, tacky, overpriced! M Five "prides" its self for being an upscale, hip place, for young professionals, and it is certainly not. The interior decor is so painfully tacky and ill conceived that it drained all the class from the surrounding area. The place is smartly located in the old Eddies Bar, in the palatial Days Inn, conveniently next to Wal-Mart. Now all though the inside is a neon light, and cube ottoman hell scape the outside patio is BEAUTIFUL. That is not enough reason to go and pay obscene amounts of money for "sophisticated drink" concoctions and tiny food offerings. It had a lot of potential till it turned into a none ironic night at the roxbury. Las Crucens wanted a cool, hip, more grown up place to hang out and eat that is not an obnoxious night club, or a 90's oxygen bar. This is an odd mixture of the two. Rethink the atmosphere and prices and keep that awesome patio, as for now SKIP!

Atmosphere is great because it is different then your typical bar in Cruces, but when it comes to customer service, two thumbs down with the two female bartenders. Brunette bartender took orders and failed to bring drinks. Had to re order with blonde bartender, took our order then continued to serve 3 other people that came to the bar after us and we still hadn't gotten our drinks, not until we told the blonde haired manager that we had been waiting over 10 min for our drinks did she bring them, and when she did bring them it was with sarcastic attitude and zero customer service, this was on a non busy night, compared to other bars in Dickersons management. Last time me and my friends will ever visit this place. They could take a few pointers from there other bars, hurricane, the game.. ect, and learn some customer service skills and understand what its really like to be busy and take care of a guest.

What a great concept! Great food, great people, and great atmosphere!! The service was fantastic, and the food was superb. Small plates lets you sample many things. What a great place to meet and have drinks and delicious food. I will definitely be back. I wish we had a place like this in Kentucky.

I love M5!!! Great place to meet my real estate clients or come hang out after work alone and continue working. It's one of the few places in town I feel comfortable showing up alone. The bartenders are awesome. Will make me any drink or suggest a drink according to my tastes. Marci has done a great job with this building. Appetizers are super yummy too and the live music nights are awesome! Dance floor rocks!
